Did anyone notice it makes 115 PSI of BOOST??

Holy JEEZ!!!

When he punches it, that beast probably slows the Earth's rotation down by a few seconds....may need to reset the atomic clock in DC!

A couple of mechanical thoughts about the truck:

1: He cryo-ed the block. (for additional strength....at least an inline six has 7 main bearings.....:o)
Imagine the twist exerted on that block while generating 2200+ FT-Lbs of torque.
Bet the bores distort....just a little.....

2: One poor motor mount is being subjected to 2,200+ Lbs of pull trying to rip it loose from the frame!

3: Depending on how well the tires hook at the track, and based on the 4" lift kit....there are some U joints screaming for mercy!

4: How do you cram 115 PSI* of boost into a cylinder and not have it 'diesel' wayyyyy before the piston gets near TDC...?

5: What kind of valve spring(s) do you use to close the intake valve against 115 PSI....?

6: How much torque do you fasten the head studs with to keep the head gasket in place when a 16.7:1 piston compresses and ignites a 115 psi charge!?!?

7: How about the EGTs at the top end of a 1/4 mile run!?

8: Imagine a Ricer Retard trying to comprehend 2,200+ Ft-Lbs of TORQUE.....that's like 20 Honda V-Tecs in one vehicle! (with NO stickers either!!!)

* 7 atmospheres!!!.....:awe:

That's one badass truck! All that power to run 10s though...

Is there such a thing as spinning the rims inside the tires from too much torque?

Is there such a thing as spinning the rims inside the tires from too much torque?

Absolutely!
Then you have to screw the tires to the rim and use a tube.

All that power to run 10s though...in a 4 TON TRUCK

There....fixed it for ya!

There....fixed it for ya!

Yeah that's freaking nuts. I've always thought it would be fun to have a sub 11 second diesel. The cars that you could surprise...:D

8: Imagine a Ricer Retard trying to comprehend 2,200+ Ft-Lbs of TORQUE making peak torque at less than 6,000 RPMfixed it for you

How about Dmitri Millard's 1799 rwhp Duramax!:bows:

It made that HP level ONCE....then grenaded.

Can't count it as a real daily driver if it blows up everytime you run it hard.

5: What kind of valve spring(s) do you use to close the intake valve against 115 PSI....?

I don't think it works like that, there is pressure on both faces of the valve.
