i would say oldsmobile because i'm olds to the core but i hate GM so much now that i hope the entire company (other than corvette) goes under. GM just handed the ENTIRE rwd sedan market to ford in 96. like how do you do that?! I think Ford will regret killing the panther too.

1. I've heard that they are bringing the Roadrunner back, huge crazy wing and all.
2. Do want a Checker Marathon - almost bought one more than once.
3. Was never a fan of AMC, possibly because the only thing I associate with them are my grandmother's "Eagle" s/w and Jeeps when they were junk. No offense intended, that's just me.

I would take a Checker and make a gasser out of it, if I could find one

Interesting choice of photo for the Studebaker because the car is actually a "1958 Packard Hawk". Only 588 of these cars were ever sold. It is known in car circles as a "Packardbaker" since it takes its cues from the Golden Hawk from Studebaker but without the wide-mouth grille of the Studebaker.
Although Studebaker and Packard merged in 1954 and became the Studebaker-Packard Corporation until 1962, each car company continued to market cars under their own original marquee.
The pic is a nice and rare car (and the fastest Packard ever built) ...... but it clearly is a Packard (and badged as such) and does not resemble a Studebaker of any Hawk variety due to mods to the front end and grill.

"The ever-cool Marauder was essentially an up-market Crown Victoria with a Mustang Cobra engine in the 1990s." Uh....what?

All the major "firsts" were first at olds.

I like the fact the Marauder is a Mercury and not a Ford, fun to watch people here scratch their heads at what a Mercury is.
Other than that, neither of the brands made any interesting cars in the time I've been around (90s kid here) I really love the Pontiac GTO and G8 but we all know they are Holdens so that doesn't really count I guess.
