I have have some birdies (squeak) under the hood goes away if I spray water onto it and usually gets quiet on idle after car warms up but I can hear it once I hit the accelerator. I'm using the belt from Napa #060990 (99 5/8 ) from the eaton swap thread.

Mine does the same thing after 1000 miles or so or after it rains a lot. Its a belt alignment issue more than likely. Im lazy so I havent addressed it. I put a dab of dielectric grease on the accessory belt every now and then. I use a 061000 belt. Maybe thats the problem.

I'll start with checking the alignment tomorrow then move from there and check the belt for cracks

my chirps were timied exactly when the decorated letters on the outer belt passed by the tensioner.
Scotchbrite the ink from your outer belt....

Does it change pitch AC on or off?

Yes! But doesn't change pitch after it warms up

Sound seems like it's more on the alt pulley side.

Run a candle against the belt while the engine is running. Watch your hands of course!

Report results.

Your local FLAPS will have "belt dressing" or you can use a few drops of brake fluid. Be careful not to get any on the paint.

It's always the alternator pulley alignment

Ok I'm going to try all suggestions until I find the problem, but is the belt length I'm using the correct size? (99 5/8)

Great news the squeak/chirp is completely gone. As Zack stated it was the alt. pulley alignment
