Shame I never drive it. One day I'll install the built Boss 5.0 shortblock that's been on the stand for 3 years now. smh

Since day 1 this car has been a mentor to me. How many times have I offered to buy it now?? LOL

Has it even turned 30,000 miles yet?

Even though you barely drive it, you should still be seriously proud of it. The small details are what get ya if you notice them. LEDs in the spoiler are a trip, and the god head cap for the trunk key hole is a nice touch.

x2 on the spoiler, very curious how it was done, holes drilled, pre-fabricated?

with those miles - he isn't doing it = driving!
first time ever seeing full view of any car Zack, you were ahead of the curve with Marauders, as we know reading your posts.
LEDs, key hole Gods head, I like the gauge selection and console mount Aeroforce - trunk and fuel system is wicked clean.
You earned the right to be impatient at times with newbies trying to do what you've done, long ago.
I know there are other old time owners with insane cars lurking in here too.
As stated, thanks for disclosing and sharing what you've learned.
Awesome car. Awesome.:bows:

After 5 years, I'm still a relative noob here but isn't this the Marauder that served as the "Test Mule" and R&D Lab for most of the mods and repairs that we enjoy today?:

MMC driveshaft (after high speed run and vibration)
31 spline shafts
410's
Eaton swap (Whipple now)
Etc.

Shifter sits really nice there do you think the 4l80e trans with a similar shifter would sit the same in there? Not too sure of the size difference between the 4l80e and Turbo 400

My Specifications, for all to know.
Yes, I had my engine beefed up. And I might note I did not blow up my original engine. I pulled it out of the car running perfectly.
It is a forged 4.6, thats it.
It has CP pisting, Eagle rods and a 4340 Steel Crank.
Absolutely no head work, but I did have Crower Valve Springs installed to be safe. Stock cams, 10.1:1 compression. I also eliminated the EGR.
Ive upgraded to a T-Trim blower with a 2.90" pulley. This is supposed to make 16lbs of boost, but I am limited to 14lbs right now because I havent converted to the 8-rib setup. After 5800rpm's. the power levels off due to belt slippage.
My latest dyno while at Dennis's shop produced 492rwhp and 457 rwtq.
Flat 12.0 A/F
I finished this motor build up literally 4 hours before driving 1100 miles to Florida last month. When I ran the 11.69 at Gainesville, it had about 1200 miles on the fresh engine.
I dont have Nitrous or the Sneeky Pete System. Nor do I have the Methanol injection kit (But I will have it soon)
The car is a beast. I got 19mpg to and from Florida.
Im going to the Strip this Friday night in hopes of a new personal best.
I will let everyone know the outcome."

To run 11.6 w/o Nitrous in a car driven from Chicago to Gainesville, FL when it's 95*F/90% back in 2005 is a phenomenal accomplishment!

all my friends ask my why i'm not supercharging my car, I keep telling them.. once you make a car super fast.. you just dont enjoy driving it anymore. All that hard work weighs on you. You dont want to see anything bad happen to it. so you just leave it parked

Thats not the case for many members including myself. I built mine to be driven and raced at the drag strip.

I am now at the point wherein no street cars will line up against me at the drag strip.
