after parking my loader outside for 2 years ive moved into a larger property... no more coming in to work an hour early just to start and warm up equipment and clear snow and ice !! the loader has a SAS scorpion engine puller on it and removes the motor/trans from a vehicle in less than 30 seconds :)
the yellow machine is my new de-pollution unit... it removes gas, diesel, oil, tranny fluid, anti freeze, brake fluid, ect. and pumps it all into my hoover vault storage tanks for recycle... we are as modern and efficient as current technology allows in our industry... we crush about 100 cars a week :)

Don't let it near those SAS forks!
how can that NOT ruin the outside stuff, or the entire engine? WOW!

Its only used for cars that we have already sold parts off of and are finished with them in the yard... And all ford taurus's !! LOL
Believe it or not we reclaim up to 55 pounds of copper wire from some cars using the scorpion... As well as the radiator, condensor, heater core and evaporator core... Very efficient machine. It takes 15 minutes start to finish... And its ALOT of fun to operate LOL.

I think "fun" is an understatement.
Also, that thing should be called
"The Alien":
"Scorpion" doesn't do it justice.

Why do they bother pulling the engine if the car is going to be crushed anyway?

We sell the cast iron and the aluminum separately. I sell car bodies for $140 a ton, cast iron engines for $280 a ton and aluminum transmissions for $400 a ton. Aluminum block motors like northstars ect. For $480 a ton. Since the motor is out, i can pull the starter, alternator and ac compressor and sell for $6 each.
