Yeah a V-10 would be a monster! I have seen a couple of others do it as well.

There was a member who used to post here about his V-10 in a Panther. He was developing a kit.
He hasn't posted in a long time.

I'd like to know if he could pass emmissions with that size of an engine. Also, as heavy as that 6.8 litre V10 might be, it probably threw off the weight distribution pretty far. If Ford couldn't get the 5.4 litre V8 to fit on the Marauder, how in the world did those guys get a 6.8 litre V10 to fit?

Truth is the average, not CA.,emisions test would probley never notice the extra 2 cylinders. As long as the CATS stayed in place I bet it would still be tail pipe clean.
Weight;Oh yea very portly.
Fit; The 2v V10 is very close to the same width as the MM4V.
The 5.4 DOHC is HUGE width rise but the engine will fit if you move the big AC box and change the power brake booster to hydro boost, maybe a little hood scope too.
That was the best thing about talking with Steve Babcock at MMVI,why didn't Ford do......?

If it passes emisions in the truck it would pass emisions in a car. Whats the difference. I am talking to the guy currently doing the set up on his CV and he says he had to move the motor aft a little but over all the fit is good.
The CV his buddy set up was propane powered and a concept car and not built for high speed
