Although I never watched Route 66, I did watch every single episode of Adam 12... multiple times.

Great show, great actor. I must have watched most of those shows when it was originally on.

I watched a Columbo re-run this past weekend, and he was in it.

I wondered if he was still with us.

Yes, not mind numbing, demoralizing and just wrong.

See the man.....

Meloy and Reed....Those were some great shows in my youth.

I'm with you guys , Adam 12 , Emergency....all great shows , when TV was designed to entertain and at times educate.

Adam 12 was so accurate , the Badges they wore were hand delivered to the set each day , then returned to the intrusted party at the end of the days shoot. They were actual LAPD Badges as opposed to props.

RIP Pete Malloy ( Mr.Milner ) Your work will live on forever.

May live on more than you know. Some of the episodes were so accurate and on the money for procedure that LAPD actually used them as training aids.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but you folks outside Los Angeles might not see (or hear) this (https://soundcloud.com/user124685274/adam-12s-martin-miler-lapd-end-of-watch-broadcast).

It was broadcast on LAPD frequencies on October 7.

It was recorded by Shaaron Claridge, who was the dispatcher's voice for the duration of the series.
