Thanks to everyone and my Marauder friends for the Birthday Greetings and Well Wishes. Had a quiet day at home and just returned from dinner with the wife. Will celebrate with the rest of the family on Saturday (minus the oldest son who is off to far off lands again courtesy of Uncle Sam).

Today also marks the beginning of my “official” retirement. I’m kinda reluctant and embarrassed on that score after working for 49 years (1 year with Eagles 5&10, 5 years with Western Auto, 20 years with the US Army, and 23 years with BRTRC as a Program Manager and Associate Vice President). It seems strange and retirement just doesn’t sound right; but I am sure that I’ll get used to it. I definitely won’t miss that daily commute on I-95 and the Capital Beltway. Neither will the Marauder or the Taurus SHO. Lots to do around the house .... things to see and places to go !!!
