I start my trip in a few minutes will hook up with several marauders over the next two or three days.

From St. Louis we will pick up parts of route 66 which will be a cool ride.

The East Coast Convoy is about 1/2 way to Las Vegas. Six (6) MMs headed your way so far. They just did an RON in Rolla, Missouri enroute along the Route 66 corridor. They are making some stops along the way to take in some of the sights and venues along the route. Yesterday they were at the St. Louis Arch, dinner at the Schafly Brewery, and a brief stop at the Atwood Armory.

The East Coast Gang of Five spent the night stargazing in Roswell, NM last night, then hit the International UFO Museum and Harley Davidson shop earlier today followed by a lunch stop at the world famous Owl Bar & Grill. On the road they picked up a 6th MM. Gryphonzus and his wife cruising in their Silver MM (1 of 5 they own) are now tacked on to the convoy that is back to smokin' on the Interstate. Won't be surprised to see them "Standing on a Corner in Winslow, Arizona" later today. I heard that there is a Girl in a Flatbed Ford waiting to get a look at the MMs. They may be able to catch BigDogJim in Flagstaff if the running times work out right.

When the East Coast Convoy split at Amarillo, TX. One group took the southern route through New Mexico to Clovis, Roswell, San Antonio, Socorro, VLA and Gallup stopping to see some sights along that route. BigDogJim split off and headed to Four Corners. Who knew that Jim was big enough to cover 4 states all at once (NM, AZ, CO and UT) ? Looks like the gang has rallied in Winslow, AZ last night to start the last leg of their 2,533+ mile journey (less side trips) this morning. Depending on stops and activities planned for today, the 7 MM convoy (5 Black, 1 Silver and 1 Blue) should arrive at the South Point hotel between 2:00 and 3:00 PM today. Let the Party Get Started !!! :party:

The East Coast Convoy of 7 MMs is back on the road again after a brief stop at Meteor Crater (formerly Canyon Diablo Crater)(known Scientifically as the Barrington Crater). They ought to be approaching Kingman, AZ soon. I expect that they are about 2 - 2.5 hours out. Should arrive at the hotel between 5:00 - 5:30 PM your time if my estimate is correct. :D

The East Coast gang had a rather good showing at the Gaudin Ford Car Show yesterday. Haggis/Ladyhawke took Best Supercharged. FastMerc won Overall Best of Show. DWStang67 got the trophy for Farthest Distance. Not bad for a group that travelled nearly 2,600 miles to attend. Hope someone from the MV13 Planning Team posts a recap of all the Winners !!

They celebrated on the Party Bus/Limosine with a trip to the Fremont Street entertainment district. Still waiting on the videos to see who braved the Zoom Line above the crowd on Fremont. Friday night they all headed down to the High Roller Ferris wheel and took some great pics of the Las Vegas Skyline from 550 feet. Not sure whether anyone made it to the Stratosphere Tower on the other end of town. That one is a bit taller at 1,150 feet but farther from the Strip.

The gang is back on the road again after saying Goodbyes at the South Point hotel. Haggis/Ladyhawke and DWStang67 are heading back along I-40. They spent the night in Flagstaff after visiting the Grand Canyon West & Skywalk. BigDogJim is taking the northern route through Salt Lake City and taking I-80 East. He is already in Wyoming. YIMMA is continuing their cross-country jaunt up the West Coast to Seattle stopping along the way to visit family and friends. Ken & Debbie decided to take advantage of proximity to roll into California. They are not too far from Pasadena/Hollywood now. Looks like FastMerc may be staying in the Vegas area.

Ken & Debbie followed Route 66 to its end and dipped their toes in the Pacific Ocean at the Santa Monica Pier. BigDogJim did a RON in Olagalla,NE off I-80 East. Haggis/Ladyhawke & DWStang67 are in Albuquerque, NM and are headed east on I-40.

Sorry we've been MIA for the most part. Dustin was so slammed he was working from Vegas and left early Sunday before breakfast. I Was only home 2 days and am still in Hawaii. I promise to post up Friday Saturday, with road trip commentary and pictures etc... I wanted a chance to edit a few of the pictures so they would be MMNet worthy. Got a few great shots, and can't wait to share!
