I recall my car being listed as only 302 HP from the factory. That changed within a month of my ownership, and then again when I did the bore & stroke job. I now dyno at 405 HP, and the gas mileage is respectable. Still looking to supercharge the beast, when I find the right blower. I don't want a centrifugal unit. I like the downdraft for the DOHC motor. Waiting for a wrecked 2003-2004 SVT Cobra to come along.

That was my question too...
Funny, when I emailed SHM, he told me he had no parts or pieces for my car. The answers came with a whole bunch of attitude too. I'm only too pleased to spend my money elsewhere. Too bad, since he's only 50K (30 miles) up the road. I guess he's doing well enough to turn away (and turn off) new customers.
SHM may have sold 2 -3 performance marauders. After the trilogy marauder was introduced it was truly a game changer.

I've always heard that SHM was best at boring and stroking your wallet.

I was thinking boring out back and stroking something else as a small payback.

I used to feel the exact same way till the latest upgrade. I would never go back to an Eaton. Ever.

The stroker kit ran $ 2250, with H-beam rods. The new aluminum heads were an additional $ 1875. When all was said and done, it cost just under $ 5,000 for the parts. Having done a 331 stroker kit on my supercharged 1993 GT and a 347 kit on my supercharged 1989 LX-coupe, the mechanical ability was easy.
