Greetings everyone. I saw a thread out hear a while back about where was the best place to send your heads off to have work done to them and now I can't find it. So, where is the best place to send my heads of to? I remember Fox Lake being one of them and Steigmier too. Who's the best? Thanks to all for your help! :help:

what sort of work?
If you are just freshening them with a valve job, certainly a local machine shop can sort that out for you, and be nearby should any issues arise...
If you want work beyond that, I would question why, and more qualified members should assist.
good luck!

What kind of work are you wanting done that any head rebuilders can't do?
I sent my heads to my local head/ engine machine shop and only had them checked out, valve job, and new Manley valves and Tooley racing springs installed, no porting, no polishing. I brought the parts, paid $500 and had them back in two days! My car had no issues breathing at 700 RWHP.. These factory heads are used on 800+ HP Cobras all the time.
If it's a name your looking for and have nothing but money and time to burn have at it.
Save your money and spend it more wisely on other parts.

$400 for what parts & labor?
the OP would have to add shipping to such costs.

Since my Marauder probably won't see 700hp, I'll check with my local machine shop and see what they can do for me.
Thanks a million! :D
