I have seen this car listed multiple times. Does anyone know any history on this one? Don't like the repaint or the mods even though they appear to be minor.

What mods don't you like ? And the paint in 03 had clear coat issues on many marauders. Some were able to get warranty repaints

Don't like the gauge added or the trans cooler. It makes me wonder why they installed it. I guess I just like 100% stock. I am think I am not alone on that since this has been for sale for a long time.

Also, Not sure what those headlight mods look like and how they were done. Cut wires maybe.

Gauge can be removed. Another A pillar piece included. Headlights can be changed back with other headlight assemblies. Original headlights are obsolete at ford now. It's prolly still forsale because small market for a low mile 13 year old car. Not going to be able to finance it for most people. So having cash is not an option for most

Trans cooler can be removed but why? It helps prolong the trans. All the police cars crown Vic's had them

This^^^^pretty sure it's common knowledge that burning up a trans is BAD.

Trans cooler is a good thing. I'd leave it.
Vacuum gauge is an easily removed and the original A piller copver just snaps into place.

Probably just added an aftermarket HID kit (no cut wires if done correctly). Would take about an hour to remove and return to stock.
You'd probably want to remove the MartyO tune....... :D
You can talk yourself out of anything.

Glossary
CARFAX Price Adjustment™
Accidents, service records, number of owners and many other history factors can affect a vehicle's value. The CARFAX Price Adjustment is a tool that analyzes millions of used car transactions to measure how the combination of all the information reported to CARFAX affects the value of a particular vehicle. The vehicle's retail book value plus the CARFAX Price Adjustment will give you a more accurate measure of the vehicle's value. Use this tool, along with a vehicle inspection and test drive, to make a better decision about your next used car.
Failed Emissions Inspection
The emissions check performed during a vehicle inspection indicated the vehicle was emitting more than allowable emissions standards and/or had missing or modified parts. Repeated failed emissions records can indicate engine problems and CARFAX recommends you have the vehicle inspected.
Ford or Lincoln Mercury Recall
The Ford Motor Company provides Carfax with recall information regarding safety, compliance and emissions programs announced since 2000 for a specific vehicle. For complete information regarding programs or concerns about this vehicle, please contact a local Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealer.
Inspections
Many states or counties require annual or biennial emissions and/or safety inspections. Odometer readings are collected at the time of the inspection.
New Owner Reported
When a vehicle is sold to a new owner, the Title must be transferred to the new owner(s) at a Department of Motor Vehicles.
Ownership History
CARFAX defines an owner as an individual or business that possesses and uses a vehicle. Not all title transactions represent changes in ownership. To provide estimated number of owners, CARFAX proprietary technology analyzes all the events in a vehicle history. Estimated ownership is available for vehicles manufactured after 1991 and titled solely in the US including Puerto Rico. Dealers sometimes opt to take ownership of a vehicle and are required to in the following states: Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and South Dakota. Please consider this as you review a vehicle's estimated ownership history.
Title Issued
A state issues a title to provide a vehicle owner with proof of ownership. Each title has a unique number. Each title or registration record on a CARFAX report does not necessarily indicate a change in ownership. In Canada, a registration and bill of sale are used as proof of ownership.

If you didn't want the HIDS you would have to buy a replacement set of headlights. I removed the original harness from the headlight housings and ran my hid wiring through the housing for a cleaner install.
Owner before me added the vacuum gauge. Not really a fan of it either. If i could keep the car I would keep the pod and put an aero force gauge in. But like I said the car comes with the original pillar trim.
I added the trans cooler. I had one on my last marauder and feel its extra insurance. Its a high quality cooler with the proper hoses and a thermal bypass.
As far as the paint. I have the oasis report on the car and it was repainted through the dealer. The paint jobs is 100x better then the factory paint on my last merc. Having said that like I put in the description their are some defects. A couple of minor drips etc. A professional detailer could probably wet sand them out. But the cars looks great when cleaned and waxed. Factory paint was horrible on thee cars.
Also I forgot to put this in my ad. Owner before me put a u haul pan on this car. I have the original pan as well. He also replaced the rear axles and seals with TSB kit. I have the receipts for this work.

What is a U Haul pan? You still have the original wire harness?
Thank you,

Uhaul pan has a drain plug in it to drain trans fluid

under 15k miles and never repainted with zero mods will be
1. very hard to find
2 more than $17.5k
3. not needed if you plan on 'driving' the car once you buy it.
the dealer repaint is likely better than if it had not been repainted. the mods for sure improved the cars daily fun, and longevity (not childish or racing mods)
all can be returned to stock in a day.
seems reasonable to me, if that were the type of Marauder I were looking for (stock, very low miles)
