its great how they gave the Miata a "head start" great road car though! One day I'll have a CTS V - many college payment days from now.

No Mustang, Hellcat, Camaro, etc. These drag race things are ridiculous. Bentley is the only one, sans the stupid racing stripe, that would grace my garage. If it were similar weight to the Vette or the AMG it would have left them in the dust.

They actually drag race about 30 cars, but they only do 10 for the video, just an fyi

It would take a lot of time,money, and space to drag 30 cars at the same time.

They normally use the top car in it's segment for the 10 car drag race.

Yeah, would've liked to see a Mustang in the mix, or at least some more traditional American muscle since the Corvette is in there.

Welp, that's where AWD helps...a lot. Makes a huge difference. Then, after the AWD gets you out of the hole, you've got the turbo helpin you pull. Beautiful engineering for such a chunky car.

Yeah, but it's not packin' the BIG 6.0L W12 engine, which has plenty of torque to turn all 4 wheels....
It's a puny 4.0L V8 in a 5,000 lb car.
I would expect it to be pretty lame when you first punch it, even with AWD....
until the twin turbos build some boost to get that tank moving.

Whatever they did.....It Works!

There was one at the car show I went to last week. A Hennessy I believe, 768hp, 196mph. I am going tomorrow and if he is there I will get a few pics

The W12 is 70 lbs heavier than the 4.0 V8 TT setup and it's 572hp/518tq. With an overboost function for 15 seconds at WOT it puts out 593hp/553tq.

2.5 tons of fun that does 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds.

The V8 also handles much better than the W12 because of weight distribution and less over the front axles. That translates to less body roll and crab steer.
