A shout out to the population, about a fellow I met six years ago.
I was working for Motor Works in Barrington at the time when one day I was paged to the Infiniti showroom over the PA.
I was a little surprised to see a young handsome dude waiting on me.
Turns out I had given his brother a ride in the Marauder, unbeknown to me to Il. State university with a group of young men including my son .
He said to me , "I heard you have a Mercury Marauder, 'cause you took my brother to ISU ".
He followed up with, " I'm going to get one, and I was wondering if I could check yours out?"
Anybody that has been here a while, may know the Trilogy Marauder #93 has had more ass than the "Happy Hooker",
So my immediate response was, " Rite this way! "
Fast forward six years!
Make a point , he told me last nite after he worked on 93 over 14 hours straight installing;
flex plate,(removeing pilot bearing was a pos), much modification needed on flexplate, transmission installed, cross member (total biotch), drive shaft, starter, still sourcing constantly missing, damaged and incompatible parts.(Cobra longblock swap).
Started FEAD system, and coolant/ vacuMa kg hose(s).

So I was told , since I did his first oil change that we did together, the only time his MM has seen the inside of a service facility is once for LCM warranty/ recall.
Mr.Volmuth just completed Mercedes Benz school and was the top in his graduation class.
Well done my friend !
You are a class act!

And since has moved to S. Carolina, he had to start work immediately and relocated.
