I'll be known as "NOT SLOW" from now on in Ohio. I almost ordered "GOT NOS" but it was taken... and then I tried "NOS PWRD" which was available, but then decided to go with NOT SLOW... I also thought about NOT FUZ, lol

Hehe. I toyed with something like "NO5OH" or something, but then I decided against it. Didn't want it to be misinterpreted by law enforcement as something disparaging. :banned:

As a license plate on a Marauder??? No way .... it obviously refers to the car.

There is always going to be a small segment of people that will always be offended no matter how PC you are, so I say go for it. My Marauder has cheesy vanity plates that read NO RD 4ME, but that's because I just transferred them over from old SUV. Now i'm debating what plates to get since they will be up for renewal in 3 months. I get 7 letters, and upto 2 spaces, so who knows what i'll decide on.

LOL, i'm afraid that might make people think i'm some IT or computer science nut. I'm also going to avoid anything that might sound provocative since I have to drive through some very bad neighborhood's around work, and to get to and from home. Right now, i'm leaning towards the following:

1. IM NOT 90
2. NOT OLDIE
3. no more idea's yet :)

My sister has RUNVUS on her 03 T-Bird in Las Vegas. ("Are you envious?")
She thought about HIMN10S ("High maintenance" which she is.....)

A friend in the Kansas DMV once approved a tag that was later recalled. In Kansas we only have rear plates unless you have vanity plates...........then it is front and rear (another strange Kansas law). The tag read: 3M TA3

See how it would look if you saw it in your rear view mirror. :baaa:

I decided to follow in the footsteps of Lidio and went with UNXPCTD .

Theres much more of a story behind it than just a future s/c ....but I won't go into it here.

Cool Plates, David!I'm just lucky. Think of it, in a state like Florida that must have 100 men that actually flew in that hot-rod Marauder and nobody was using it. I couldn't believe it!

Mine still hasn't arrived yet. Coming up on 7 weeks since I ordered it.

MN Personalized.... UNXPCTD.

I know Lidio has the same plate...but this one has a special meaning for me.

Not only will the car be a little unexpected to be going that fast :D ....but its also unexpected that I even have the car.

2 years ago I chose grad school over a new MM. I was getting married to who I thought was a great gal...needless to say she wasn't.

I was married for 11 months last year....she had an affair and I kicked her a$$ out of the house. I got the house, both my cars, all the furniture and the diamond ring back....11 month marriage.

Fast forward to very early June 2004. My house is still in both our names on the mortgage and I go to refinance...low and behold its gone up in value by like $70K :woohoo:

Soooo...I refinanced. My ex wifes credit is horrible so our payment was pretty high. I was having a tough time making it myself...but I held on.

After the refinance....with a great credit score...my payment on the first mortgage and the 2nd for the MM is still much lower than our previous total payment :D So no car payments and this house is still going up in value.

I made out like a bandit...lots of guys come out of divorces beat to death and broke. I praise the lord things happened this way...I couldn't be happier :cool4: :cheerlead:

Soooo...my plate should be here soon. Otherwise I'll have to have a talk with the local DMV.

PS: The plate is even a bit of a slam on the exwife... UNX :D

I just ordered this personalized plate for my 4X4 Ford truck. Somebody has had it reserved for years. But while playing on the DMV web site the other night I found it had now become available! Whoever had it just didn't renew it this year.

Virginia allows gun names. Colt, S&W, Glock, Ruger, Cobray, H&K, Llama, SigArms, Ithaca, etc...... They are all already taken by people. Uzi was taken for at least the last 15 years, somebody probably forgot to renew it when the expiration date came up. In a few months when they go in 6 months late to renew it, DMV will break the bad news to the person.... that somebody else snatched it away from them. :)
