11/20/2015 IL snow storm

Well we got stuck getting back from the shop where the Marauder sits.
The storm showed up early by two hours, while I was waiting for my updated tune .
The conditions were brutal and after an hour white knuckles, I grabbed A hotel.
Live to race another day!

I've got snow tires on the Sport, and weight in the trunk. If things get too bad, I'll drive my wife's Fj Cruiser.

If I was prepared, I would have replaced the tires prior to the snow season.
Mismatched, improperly inflated and uneven wear on black ice makes it a challenge.

As of 11am: 14" on the deck so far and predicted another 1 to 2 hours before it stops.

Good thing is it will be gone in a few days. Warming up to the 50s by Thursday.

WOW snow on news ugly they were talking about throwing down a healthy layer of salt. :eek: front passes thru here tmw forecast to go down to 60-62 here full on winter early it seems. GTG time to get my winter clothes outa storage bags.

Got the Marauder in storage in Milwaukee 7pm Thursday night and hit the road for Knoxville on Friday. Snuck down the Edens/Kennedy/Skyway amidst flakes in the wife's little Hyundai before any accumulation. It's 30s in Appalachia, but no snow. Looks like only about 6 inches at home in south Milwaukee. Hopefully the rain washes it away by next weekend.
