Turned some extra car parts into furniture

The past few years I have been using some spare parts to make some furniture etc. to use in my theater/bar area. Thought I would share.

V6 SHO intake, heads and valve covers. V8 SHO pistons and connecting rods. This was a major PITA and took way too long to complete. I wired up LEDS for illumination.

Hand towel rack made from a Ford 460 Cam

Paper towel holder: SHO V8 Cam, 460 timing gear as the base and 460 rocker and push rods.

I will have to find some better pics, I had it all powdercoated and the recessed areas are metallic blue. I still have two more full V6 intakes ha ha. After selling a ton of parts on the SHO forum I had a few bad deals go down so I decided to use the parts instead of dealing with that crap again.

Those are pretty awesome, I cant even imagine how heavy they are. I was going to do a similar set up for the coffee table with a BBF 460 but couldn't do it cause it was still serviceable and I would have to carry it down too many stairs!

Thank you, it took much longer than expected to get it all done but it's finally all complete until I come up with something else crazy to tinker with.
