You ever figure this out? Pretty sure mine is clicking from the bell housing. I had an 8 bolt flexplate installed when the motor was done and re-installed. Not sure if the bolts are just loose or too long like you are saying.

A cracked flexplate will do this too, I can tell you first hand......

Yeah I am leaning towards that. It clanks from a start and more so when in drive. Also, car had power loss when gunning it at higher speeds. Not sure what flex plate to buy, the research is confusing as to what drops into a MM TC with an 8 bolt crank pattern, without a problem.

Thumbs up Supplicating at the Shrine of Marauderdom!

    What a day!

First, regional GA airport allowed me to refuel Marauder with 93 E0 ‘mogas’ (motor gasoline used in light airplanes). 93 E0 not available in this area otherwise.

Proceded to MartyO’s new shop - impressive. Met with staff (MartyO was away). Jeff and Harrison repaired the transmission leak, replaced the rear shocks, installed dead pedal, swapped out aftermarket IAC motor/valve for an OEM device. Remounted CAI with better clamps and an additional clamp. OEM from now on.

Jeff drove the car extensively, checking all of the data parameters - everything is on the money and Marauder is running very well. He stated my car is probably the best running - best condition Marauder he has come across in recent history.

    Head home tomorrow.

The one I used on my current build drops right in. No grinding, wallering bolt holes, etc.

A side job? Hells no LOL I can’t even find the GAFs about my own junk that I seemed to have lost somewhere?

The lift would be awesome if the garage were taller. But then again, leisurely rolling around on a seat is good on the back!

Trailered the car up to PA so it's out of the way before the move. Figure I'll start working on it in the spring, the goal is drag week 2019.

Think I've put about 1200 miles on this car since Sept of 2015, it essentially goes to/from Carlisle every year, I have no other real use for it. I think I took it to the UPS store last September once.
