For what it's worth, if you're a roller coaster person, Norwalk is a stone's throw from Cedar Point...America's Roller Coast!

As an FYI (and since it came up in private messages), when booking hotel rooms, you need to check in the city the day OF the venue. I.E. June 9th, check in at Martinsville, check out June 10th and head to Bristol. Check into Bristol June 10th, check out the morning of the 11th. So on and so forth. Let me know if you need any advice.

The C-10 keeps nickle-diming, but we keep swinging on it. The heater core just took a crap and has since been fixed, now it's leaking trans fluid by the speedometer cable. But dad REALLY super wants to take it, meaning our immediate list is:
-oil pressure sender relocated to firewall
    -trans leak
-storage solution for the bed (locking toolbox or otherwise)
-hillbilly swamp cooler for the cab
    -repack wheel bearings
    -align

I know I'll miss the Marauder's A/C, nicer stereo, and killer handling. Those Ridetechs are made for back roads! But the '62 has been a light project between me 'n' dad and it'll be nice to prove it out on the road. I'm sure the Caddy big block and TH350 will equal half the Marauder's mileage...that'll suck....

The truck was painted by a 3 year old, I'm pretty sure. It's rough in person, but photographs well. See ya on the road.

FYI to those interested. Reservations begin January 8th.

If you plan on only attending one day you will not be parked with the larger group. If you want to feel more involved with the event buy a multi-day pass.

I will be participating in the Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Norwalk stops.

I'm buying a pass, but probably skipping the venues most days. I want to spend more time on the road seeing the sights than sitting in a sweltering parking lot.

Good call. $65 vs. over $100 damn near everywhere else. I will have to pop in and see if I can figure out if they're halfway decent. That's always the gamble with HF stuff.
