It can be done if I have enough time.

I do plan on 'showing' my car, but not entering it in contest to be judged, so I'm okay with doing this at/during the show. I imagine you already have a long list of 'customers' that weekend; no heartburn taking care of them first.

I plan on being in Charlotte Thurs eve until 3pm-ish Sat.

i removed my dash, changed my lights, put it all back together.... all under 2 hours.

16 194 SMD will do the job.

Their are other bulbs in the set... i think... 5 or 7... small PC37 bulbs

Just go to radio shack and find a small LED, i folded the long wire with needle nose, to make the wire bigger, slid right in..

same applies to the light switch..

I should post a big sheet on all the LED upgrades. Followed "MarauderED" or MercuryED (dont remember which)

    youtube "Marauder LED" its awesome

fastblackmerc says only 6 bulbs for illumination. I counted 16 fittings for the 194 bulb.

these bulbs handled other functions such as LOW FUEL and check engine light.

Correct there are 16 x 194 bulbs total. There are only 6 used for illumination as noted by "ILL" on the traces. Why install LEDs in the other 10 bulbs when they are only used sporadically, some not at all?

Question: do either the trunk kit, or the underhood kit (2003) have plugs that plug into the existing wiring, or does this require some soldering (or equivalent, like butt splicing)?
