    Anyone running 1 15" sub?

I have wanted to replace the 2-10" subs with something smaller for a while now. Simply because I want my trunk space back. 1 12" may do the trick but idk. Let me know what you have and opinions Thanks in advance

If you want trunk space back, I'm the wrong guy to talk to, lol

but I'm pretty sure there's a guy on here with one 12" in the upper deck of the trunk. Or you can get a custom built box for your 10's that can fit there also.

Those are actually my plans. I have 2 cheap jbl 12" subs right now. I will be getting 2-10s high quality and build a box to fit on the rear shelf space. Ive seen 10" quality subs do extreamly well.

Never really liked 10's, wife's car has 12's but they just don't have the same feel as the 15"

I had a single 10 in a box I built myself on the top shelf. Once I got everything dialed in it sounded fantastic. Don't use cheap **** and you can do more with less.

Two 8's under the rear deck ported (port is inside the enclosure now). Soon to be 3 or 4 and ported into the rear deck.

My 2 Kenwood 10's do the job and well. Don't feel 1 10" will be what I want. I want the same bass or more with 1 sub

This isn't the post I should be on. I have 2 kicker comp 15s in a double braced quad ported box built specifically for the marauder. Running off of factory deck with an autotek 3000 wired down to 2ohms pushing currently 2400watts.

Those 15s are insane. I ran a 15 once, but that was in a Suburban, so I had tons of room. I have a JL Audio 12W3 in a sealed box out in my garage that I ran in my old Crown Vic. Sounded good, but the box is weird, made for another vehicle. I'll be building a new enclosure for it to fit under the rear tray in the Marauder. A 10 would be a better fit, and plenty for me, but I already have the 12, and left over lumber so there you are... Sometimes you use what you got. Hell, I still have that 15 inch Eclipse out there under one of my workbenches.

    Yeezus ^ .

I sort of grew up from the heavy overly loud bass. I enjoy my lil 10" Alpine Type R.

    Digital Design 15" Sub

Here's what I run but truck space is a valuable commodity,

and the arm rest must be up it turned up past the 1/4 mark.

I love the sub firing through the arm rest hole idea. That was my first thought, using a single 10", until I calmed down. That would be too involved for me to do on my own and expensive to have done. Anything I do, I have to do without giving up too much trunk space.

You can get great Bass with a smaller driver and the right enclosure.
