I'd love to be able to get rid of the sublimated "MARAUDER" on my rear fascia. Could I swap it out for a black Grand Marquis or Crown Vic fascia, or is the Marauder's fascia an entirely different fit?
Has anyone done this?

It should fit, however it looks a tad different.

Why not go "non-sublimated" and get the SS Inserts. They look great !!!Originally Posted by Matt Johnson

Finally, someone else brave enough to say it. I've ALWAYS hated all the "sublimated" "emblems" Ford puts on it's cars. They are a pain in the a** to clean! I've been looking for a way to either cover it up or remove/replace it for a long time. Let us know if you've got any ideas.Originally Posted by Matt Johnson

When I got the Crown Vic mud guards to fit the rear of our marauder, I realized what the engineers at Ford had done.
They used the rear fascia from a Crown Vic on the Marauder. The standard Gran Marquis fascia may fit, but may have extra chrome like trim on it. The rear fascia from a Crown Vic should be a simple fit, if that is the look you want.
I prefer the MM on the bumper, but go for it!!!
The CV rear fasia may fit but you will find it a WEE BIT TOO SHORT for your liking.Originally Posted by Matt Johnson
The MM rear fascia is LOWER than the CV or GM rear fascia.
Just get yourself a set of the SS Inserts and it will dress up the fascia !
Ask for them in a matching color if you don't want them to stand out so much.

Actually the CV rear facia is quite different. It will fit but will not match other lines wellOriginally Posted by danbike
A good bodyshop could probably fill it in for you. They used a plastic filler when I had my old MM repaired.
Personally, I can't stand the name of the car on the rear the fascia - I think it's cheeseball city - but i'd rather keep the lower lines and the fit of the oem fascia than change it out for something else.
Thanks for the info fellas...

How 'bout the rear bumper cover from a town car????????
I'm with bigslim, a good bodyshop can fill it in for you a lot cheaper.
Hmmmm . . . I've been thinking of filling mine, too. I just really like the idea of a completely badgeless, identityless, stealth car.
