Should we get a Flowmaster 40 series muffler on our Marauder? What advantages does it have and where can we get it?

I put the Flowmaster 40 series on my MM and they really give the car a much better sound. A deeper rumble at slow idle and a bit of a roar when you get into her a bit. At the same time, sound in the passenger compartment had little change. :-)
Take a look at the Ravin 55's also. I have always been a Flowmaster guy but after talking to SerntMac and checking out goravin.com I put the Ravin 55's with Megs tips without resonators yesterday. The car sound great and the tips stick out 1" more so you can see the engraving. Either way you go it will sound better than stock.
Just got Stage 2 Flowmasters on mine and WOW!!! Just little bit more power. Nuttin to brag about, but now she sounds awsome!!!!!!
Who's gunna run open cats first is what I wanna know!

Looks like there's been a serious splintering. I never thought it'd be possible for this to happen to a group of owners of a car model that sold no more than 14000 copies over 2 model years. Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.
OK--What I wanna know--who has the new "tips" along with new mufflers..aka.... Flow'40's or others.....cause I have the new tips but haven't changed the OEM mufflers as yet.....so since alot of us have just bought or put on these new tips.....need someone to come forward WHO HAS BOTH....WHATS THE NEW SOUND LIKE NOW WITH BOTH!!!!

I've had my FlowMaster 40s on for quite some time and I absolutely love them.
Personally, I'd be careful about changing the cats on this motor. I've read a lot about how DOHC motors don't fare well when too much back pressure is removed.

Sorry I can't comment on mufflers + non OEM tips. The sound level with just the muffler swap is perfect, I'm afraid it'd be a bit too loud with both. Wonder if anybody has done both?

Not sure which FlowMasters I've put on the car, but replaced the tips (that I'd bought earlier this year) on at the same time.
Much, louder...(yeah, that's it) definitely rumbling sound at 7:00 in the morning when I lumber off to work.
If I can record it on a new mini tape recorder and make a wav file out of it, I'll do it and put it out.
