There is a clearance issue with the Cobra lower intake manifold that is used with the Trilogy setup. It can be done and Don (of Even Flow Cooling) has done a test fit. The stock lower intake needs to be clearanced some, too, for this kit, but the Trilogy lower even more and I think a little clearancing on the head fitting too.

This is all for the passenger head fitting. The driver's side is fine.

    Head cooling kit

I'm just getting a look at this thread now, so let me clear up a few things:

I'll take the heat for the picture where the JLT was covered up. I was initially trying to make an arrow and some text to point to where the cooling "T" was installed at the upper radiator hose. The intake tube seemed to be the lightest part of the photo where an arrow and text would show up on. After trying a couple of different ways, the text was still too small to really read and didn't look right. I tried to "patch over it" and screwed it up. So yes, my photo shop skills up not up to par. No disrespect to JLT.

The upper/lower intake does have to come off because there is a small area of casting flash that need to be clearanced where the p/s fitting goes into the head. The upper/lower intake comes off as a single assembly in @30 minutes, no heavy lifting there. Here area couple of additional benefits to this mod:
    1) both D/S and P/S heads are addressed
    2) Purging the air from the cooling system is ridiculously easy IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS WE PROVIDE.
    3) Can be done in your driveway.
    4) Heater operation remains factory stock, no change of coolant flow through the heater core.
    5) Timing can be POSSIBLY be increased OR brought back in if your tuner has taken some timing out from cylinders 6,7,&8 because of additional heat in that area.

For Trilogy guys: There is no easy way to say this, but we do not recommend this kit for your application. We have installed one on a Trilogy car, but it took HEAVY clearancing on the lower intake manifold to get it to fit. We do not feel comfortable promoting this for Trilogy cars because we do not have any kind of template that we could include that would show a customer EXACTLY where to clearance and EXACTLY how deep. We need to come up with something that is custom for the Trilogy guys in the future. That being said, the 03-04 Cobra cooling head mods will fit the Trilogy cars with no issue, but it will only address the driver's side head. Passneger side would remain factory stock.

For more specific info, write-ups, and photos regarding the Marauders, you can always visit the website at

We have already addressed a lot of the questions you guys may have. I'll try and answer any others.

There is room on the passenger side for the Trilogy, just not with the fitting from Even Flow.
It needs to be a cnc machined piece with the outlet and base being one piece and the outlet on a 45 degree angle.
