Replaced Marauder Radio

Well I have had the lost signal radio problem and picked up a 1995 Escape Radio, a Mach 300 w/ the 6 disc in dash changer.

If anyone can answer my questions that would be a help.

1) Will my Disc player in the trunk work with this radio

2) Will the radio lock in to the old radio's position without cutting anything.
It just seems to fall a little short in locking ( I can't push it in far enough.


For anyone thinking about this fix/upgrade, the sound is way better than the original radio. Can't wait for my 3.5 Hour drive to Las Vegas Saturday.
