Yep, temporary repair. Didn't do the necessary research...
There was a TSB from the factory, some early Marauders left the factory with axles that weren't properly hardened, leading to premature wear at the bearing contacts. Moving the contact point will just wear another spot. Gotta get properly hardened axles to permanently fix it. Some of us got ours repaired under warranty way back in the day...

I used those "repair" or offset bearings on my MGM, and have had no issues.
I think my axles are different than the ones in question, though...

Yeah, if bad bearings damage good axles the offset bearings will do ok. If bad axles cause the problem then replacing them is the only real option.

Look the repair is solid ok if the axle was bad off then yea I would have replaced the new bearing and it's location is just fine take ur negative post else where
