New guy with hvac issue?

Hello Everyone,

I just got my first Marauder...finally after all these years loving these cars. I have a bunch of little stuff to fix, most of it is well documented on this board. One this is a little strange: right now I get hot air from the dash vents and cool air from the floor and defrost. I get no change when any buttons on the EATC: floor , vent, max a/c, defrost etc... even with the unit turned off, there is still some force to the hot air coming from the dash vents...like it's still on low.

I ran codes and did get the 24 and 25 code for blend door actuator so I know that is why I'm stuck on heat right now but the direction of the air is wierd? Any ideas??

Sounds like you need the blend door actuator replaced and the o-rings in the EATC replaced. I can fix the EATC for you. PM me.

The blend door fix is extremely well documented on this site...I'm up to speed and have a local shop willing to work out a deal with me for it...I get frustrated with under the dash work! I just wasn't sure about the air directional issue...but I trust the knowledge base here, you guys have definately "been there, done that" with these cars, I just hadn't seen this specific situation of air direction issue listed before.
