You have to make it out of the gauge pod by using a hole saw to cut out where the cigarette lighter is

How do you swap out for real ones?? I know the factory ones are for show, but do you have to rewire??

You have to take apart the gauges (remove the trim ring and lens), then swap out the guts from the new gauge(s) to the old gauge(s), keeping the original faceplate(s).
I can do them for you. or there is a write up in the archives.... somewhere.
