    Pillar Gauge wiring.

If I wanted to install gauges in a pillar pod and have them light up and dim along with the other gauges where should I tap the wires into? The headlight switch dimmer or the main headlight switch harness?

Tap into the oil pressure, and volt gauges, and the shifter indicator lights.

    That's the only option?

No you can tap into the dimmer below the headlight switch. Don't know the color wire offhand.

I agree with the volt and oil pressure gauge.... Get yourself some 1/4" loom and run the wire across. It's the easiest and you'll be least likely to mess anything up.

Might have to do that for the ignition n ground wires. I didn't want to run 4 wires across if I didn't have to. The light switch was easy just needed a test light to figure out which wires worked.

The best ground is behind the kick panel on either side. There is a green bolt with a few black wires going to it.

I'll check the owners manual when I get home for the illumination wire.

Ok cool, I'll use that. The illumination I figured out already. Thanks for the help.
