    Question Console Armrest replacement

    Hello
My console armrest is torn and does not look nice. I see this armrest replacement on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/174308882245
It says it fits Crown Victoria & Mercury Marauder, however I see some comments stating:
Was the wrong part for my Mercurt Marauder but I'm sure it's for for a Crown Vic or a Grand Marquis. They have a different center console
    Not correct part for marauder
On the other hand, these comments say it fits:
This is perfect, it fit exactly like it's supposed to fits right over my Mercury marauder/fire crown Victoria lx sport console lid. Wayy better then what's used at factory. Cheaper then buying a used console lid, tight so there's no wrinkles. Just was a staple gun
Item arrived quickly and fit my 2001 Crown Victoria LX Sport perfectly. Looks great!
Can someone tell me if it's going to fit? Mercury Marauder uses the same console and armrest as Crown Vic LX Sport and Grand Marquis Sport, right?

Fitment is one thing, durability is another. If it fits but starts to break down/come apart not long after installing it, is it a 'good deal'?

The listing says they accept returns within 60 days, so you can buy one and see if it fits and also get a better feel for its quality and return it if either aren't to your liking.

I bought one, it sort of fit, and will work in a pinch. A member was selling recovered armrests on the site awhile back, those were practically identical to the factory cover.
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:

Is your old one broken or just worn? There has to be a car upholstery shop in Reno. They can most likely reskin the old one to match.
