I'm reminded of the C4 rebuild on my 1st car, a 1966 Fairlane 289 A code 4V. AAMCO shop within walking distance of my apartment. Worked with the manager when we both worked at a local Ford dealer previously. Shifted strangely - sold car to fellow co-worker who was smitten by the paint job and alloy wheels....

Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”

As simple as this transmission is, it amazes me how most transmission shops manage to mess it... throwing a rebuild kit at it doesnt solve anything if you dont fix the pressure leaks caused by the factory parts that normally wear.
I rebuild AOD/AODE/4R70W/4R75E Transmissions, check out my Facebook page for my latest project; https://www.facebook.com/pages/North...48414635312478
