    Front Brake Calipers

Anyone have any recommendations for new front brake calipers? I typically buy from Rock Auto, but there are a lot of them on their site. I don't need them loaded with pads.

I bought the Cardone ones as they were the original supplier, at least according to Ford parts. They work like the originals. Think there is a core.

I was going to suggest the Raybestos Police Series, but it appears they no longer offer them. FWIW, I have Duralast (AutoZone house brand) on both of my GMQs and they work very well.

Thanks for the help. I'll probably go with the Cardone from Rock Auto.

Now's a good time to do the big brake upgrade.

Do yourself a favor and get the gerry juice big brake kit. Looks a million times better than the puny stock setup alone. If you are already swapping calipers, might as well do it.

What about getting them rebuilt by Goldline Brakes, who do some upgrades during the process (forget the details..).
