The covers under the bumper are fastened on one side with velcro. Pop those loose and there ya go.

As much as we love technology, we must be prepared for the inevitable, it fails.

OK...I know you're not gonna like this....but...
The owner's manual gives really good instructions on how to open up the fogs. READ!
You can do this on your back, but it's easier if you jack up each side of the car as you go.
One side is wide open, the other side requires removal of a velcro cover to gain access.
There is a clip to open the rear of the fog light, and it will swing down for bulb access.
You will see a metal diffuser cover over the bulbs. Many of us removed it. IT WILL NOT HARM ANYTHING TO REMOVE IT, and it will allow the light to cast broader at night. The diffuser is merely 'plugged' into the assembly and requires quite a tug to remove.
As far as bulb replacement, replace with bulbs that match what you have in the headlights, otherwise the combo of all four looks wierd with different color casts at night.
I used ZENON's which match my headlamps. I also upgraded the OEM 55W bulbs to 100W each. No trouble in 23 months. I ALWAYS run my fogs on overcast days.
I get my ZENON's from JCWhitney mail order, and have had WONDERFULL experience with these bulbs. They are not prone to premature failure as the headlamps occationally do.

You don't need to replace the whole assembly unless it is broken.
If the bulb burned out....all you need to do is replace it.
I emailed you Bigmerc.

Could you share that info with em as well? I'm having a hell of a time, replacing the fog light bulbs. Laying on my back, hand thru the flap, not being able to see anything, can't be the right thing to do.Originally Posted by bigmerc'03

Help, please!
