    Sticking Tachometer---Fix ?

    Hello again guys

my Silver Birch beauty that I love so much has a quirky tach....Sometimes it sticks on "0" and sometimes it pegs out, I think a quick spray with Teflon or silicone would do the trick, I wanted to ask you all here what you thought before I proceeded......

Have any of you had to deal with a similar issue with your cluster at all ?

    thanks in advance

Let me take a look at my spare instrument cluster and I'll let you know.

    me too...

Mine recently started doing this exact same thing...and it also will sometimes run in "reverse." By that, I mean the needle starts at 7K, and goes down, instead of up...when it started a few days ago, a few taps the the bezel would correct it, but now it seems that it is taking amore and more forceful "tap" to get it right...I figure perhaps the connection under the hood came loose or got dirty or something. I will check that out and see if perhaps that resolves the issue.
