    Unhappy Rear quarter panels warped

Yes, I know we've covered this before...
Now both sides of my Marauder are warped out of shape...just behind rear wheels...
I can't seem to find the right phrase for the "search"...
Anybody remember or have a suggestion...?
Seems like somebody glued styrofoam in behind theirs...
    Thanks, Architect

On the MM's I have seen you really have to get at the right angle and lighting to see it.

Is that the case, any pics?

    You the styrofoam man...
I just took a closer look and I can see where there is an inner panel and the outer fender panel...so something could be placed in this space to push out and hold the fender in proper place...possibly glued into place...
Thanks for the information...I'll do a little more research and if I come up with something that works well, I'll post it back here...
    Thanks again, Architect

A body issue? On these cars??? noooooo......

For what its worth I have a proguard and my back bumper is starting to warp/sag a hair even with it. Without the proguard that bumper would be draggin pavement. Proguards should of been a STOCK item.

It is a bumper sag, there is a way to fix it under the bumper in the middle.

Both of mine have the bowing of the bumper cover behind the rear wheels below the quarter panels. A foam insert may be a good idea, if it doesn't hold moisture and cause the quarter panels to rust.

Yea, I have the same problem as described, I can see mine from quite a distance and when the light shines on it the right way it just looks terrible, almost like the car has been hit...

The trick is the middle of the bumper. If you stand back and someone gently pull up on the bumper you will see the the sag disappear.

I forget how I corrected this as the car is put away for the winter so I can not look. It is not hard to fix

I will post up with pictures in the srping

Jim, are you talking about the back of the bumper cover or the sides? The earlier comments about the ProGard helping would be true if it is at the back of the bumper, but this issue is on the sides of the car. I have ProGard's on both of my cars and they still have the bowing in of the bumper covers behind the back wheels.

I think somebody should make an aftermarket rear bumper made of beefier plastic. Ship them painted to match and if it was with in reason id definately buy one. The plastic the bumpers are made out of is really crappy cheap ***** to say the least.

Pro Gaurd will help the sides a little, issues is size of the bumper and lack of clips under there it hold it. I am too lazy to pull mine out till spring and look under there is see what my buddy did to correct it. My issue is the back bumper has been repainted/replaced twice now. Insurance Companys love sending me $2,000. checks to fix it
