    Back to the top! Just had someone asking questions about doing a conversion! Look around for more threads on this car. It went 10.88 @ 129.7 and broke the tranny on the next run. She will be getting a new one real soon!

    Always loved this car! Reminds me of my build a little bit but obviously that car is way nicer than mine will ever be.
    The kicker for me is that most of the stock stuff is kept intact. I removed/relocated a lot of components so my hat is off to you sir, for keeping everything where it's supposed to be lol.

    She goes for the new tranny as soon as I can find time to trailer her over. It also gets a Gear Venders overdrive unit installed at the same time. It has been a long time saving up for these changes but the Grand Monkey will be on the road for this spring.

    What rear gear ratio will you have, and axles/differential?
