Gotcha, but I dunno, the FLPB is the first thing that people comment about when they see the car...

Man, if you had a DTR, I had a perfect joke. Oh well.

Anyway - I've got this going in Motor City Marauders and CrownVic.net as well. I did find two DEFYANT threads:
    http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/fo...104#post117104
    http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forum...ad.php?t=58058

5:31am Eastern Time: I have compiled info from them - though they are not complete by my standards, so the spreadsheets will not reflect all of the information. DEFYANT, if you're tuned in here (I also posted at MCM) - sorry, hadn't seen your threads when I decided to do this and hope you don't feel I'm stepping on your toes.

While doing this, I've found a few cars that raise red flags - either dates/build #s not corresponding (which leads me to believe these are 4A [preproduction] cars or had been sent back for repair during manufacture), cars I believe to be totaled or sold, etc. I have indicated this as best as possible in the I and J columns of my spreadsheet. Pretty self-explanatory when you see it.

I didn't buy a certificate. I just called and asked for the numbers. If you would like to add my abbreviated info to the list, please do so.
    (#6178 in black per FPIC)
Call 1-800-FORD-788 and press "1". Have the last 6 of your VIN handy. You will get the numbers for FREE. You'll pay $$$ for the certificate.

MM traded in 8/9/13 @ 128909 miles. It was fun for almost 8 years. I met airmercpun on 1/17/14. He was the new owner of my former ride. -Now gone.

Update: back in the game with a late build 03 GMGS with some MM add ons like Escape audiophile radio w/Sirius sat radio, rear sway bar, catback exhaust, and header panel.

    Rest In Peace:

See my garage file for part numbers and whatnot.

IMHO, this site- the members that I chat with- and the ones that I now Hang with- are like my 2nd family. There is such an ongoing welcome feeling here that even members who don't or no longer own the MM can feel.

I figured yours would be absolutely correct so I added what I could. Why not add it all though?

Unless this sticky can only be viewed by registered members, my VIN info will not be supplied.

    Add this in:
My MM is UA black w/Dk charcoal interior. It has the CD changer option.

I'll be happy to add you once I know that the info Brian gave you matches what Ford gave you.

Prior to Ford providing these certificates, Brian was the only way of knowing approximately what build number your car was. This was done by looking at the sequence numbers in the VIN.

Unfortunately due to preproduction cars and stuff, the numbers were not 100% accurate.

For example, my number was 504. When I got the certificate from Ford, I moved to 420.

So please, call the number listed in the first post of this thread and confirm your info (or post here that you've already done it). Once that's done and we have Ford-certified information, I will be sure to add it!

Sorry for the confusion - I had put it over on one of the other sites but forgot to add it here. Thank you! I copied and pasted it into the original post now, but here it is, straight from RoyLPita's signature:

    a_d_a_m:

Just got off the telephone with Ford Performance and gentleman stated that my production number was 1575.

So your right it did change from what was given to me from 1570 to 1575.

Is this enough info that you need to add me to the list????

I plan on ordering the certificate at a later date.

Price of $45 for this certificate is just killing me.....I wanted to ask the gentleman on the phone if it also comes framed.

    Take it easy.

Added. Your car is actually a 300A, as are all 2004 Marauders despite having 2003 300B features. See this post for clarification.

And no, the certificates do not come framed.
