    Trilogy Trouble

Hello Guys, I've been off the grid for a while but need some help. My Trilogy single screw appears to have a failed front bearing. It has about 65k miles on it and is emitting a growling noise isolated to the front bearing with a stethoscope.
Has anyone here performed this repair? Any recommendations for support on this issue?
    Thanks

Non Twin Screw I assume. Try Jon Bond performance if you’re not a do it yourselfer.
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

Don’t say that! Mine was finally shipped there last Thursday after spending 2 1/2 years in a box...

J Bond took 10 weeks for a rebuild, porting, powder coating on a quoted 30 days time frame. Then shipped it back and did not tighten the snout bolts and leaked oil all over when Mo's reinstalled. He did powder coat it great though.

I would check the crankshaft pulley bolts on the trilogy, mine backed off a bit and it sounded like the blower was growling and all it ended up being was loose crank pulley bolts......

I will admit that lead time is not his strong suit.

Although you isolated it to the front bearing with the stethoscope, I would take the belt off the supercharger and start it and see if you still have the noise. Noises transmit very easily on that engine.

Thanks everyone. I have definitely isolated the fault to the snout bearing. Thanks for the video Musclmerc, quite helpful. Now the question is parts and oil. Do Eaton M90 parts fit our Trilogy so I know the correct snout kit to source? What is the correct lubricant?

    JonBond has an ebay store.
Search for /Magnuson MP112 snout rebuild kit

It will come with the correct lube, sealant, bearing, and coupler

You can also contact Magnuson directly. IIRC Trilogy is a gen1 SC

Use the video as a how to
