My Guages and Autometer Guages are not seeming as bright as they should be with the brightness at full. Is there a known issue with these? Any idea on how to correct it?

I never did convert yet but I plan on using LEDs for the instrument gauges and from what has been said/told these are much brighter while generating less heat.
You might want to think about converting.
BTW: different loads can be causing the instrument lights to dim and not be bright or a bad connection/ground....
^^^^^ What he said. ^^^^^ Go with LEDs.
