Looking to buy a jlt intake if anyone has one laying around
Looking to buy a jlt intake if anyone has one laying around
The jlt is not an actual cold air intake. Its getting mostly warm/hot air from under the hood not the cooler air outside the car since the filter is only partially enclosed. The stock intake may be better since it is fully enclosed and taking in less of that engine compartment air but it is also not a true cai.

I have a few full low mile units.
The above pieces, and the filter box... Complete units. $125 plus the ride.
Note: like new, as new.
Off 16,000 mile and 24,000 mile cars respectively.
Since JLT now has a CARB number... I don't need both of them.

Yes, best place to take in the air is out front so at speed it will be forced in.
Back in the day when I had a Grand National they use to have a kit with ram air openings cut into the chin spoiler.

I don't think the benefits would be worth the time, money or hood.
*off-road use* consideration ...
