Any updates on these guys? Just wondering how y'all are liking them after a few days and miles have been put on.

In desperate need of some rears and am considering these but wanted to hear back before ordering. Really wish I could still get the Falken S/TZ01s in 255/55-18 still.

I know, come on. I've never curbed a wheel in my life or bought specific tires that would protect the wheel if I did curb one.

Overall I am pleased with the tires so far having them on for only 2 weeks and about 250 miles. I do get a small cyclic vibration in the steering wheel at 70+ mph. I'm unsure if this is due to any tire defect or less than optimal balancing but my gut tells me it's the latter.

I have had the same vibration through 2 sets of OEM tires.
Wondering if it is a power steering problem....

I'll be looking at Coopers soon...

    nothing remarkable to report...

I cannot report anything bad about the Coopers. I have traveled on the freeway with them, but mostly around town (city driving). I suppose no news is good news.

The occasional minor vibration with these Coopers & OEM BFG's is not a concern to me. I believe it is probably (mostly) occurring with all the ruts in the asphalt from large trucks. I've never noticed it on concrete streets/highways.

As far a "...never curbed a wheel" or "...just don't hit anything", you white bread drivers must not do any sporty driving or two-tracking with your Nancy-boy Marauders. The Marauder was born for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb.

The occasional curb check is sadly inevitable in a city such as mine.

Well, most people curb wheels when they are parking or slow-speed maneuvering around....curbs! A little caution and knowing your vehicle will keep it from happening. I push my car often, and with 174k miles it still drives like it was new. As far as being born for Pike's Peak, - Maybe if it had twice as much power and weighed half as much you could say that.

However if curbing is a problem for anyone, I suggest a set of these:

No more Cooper tires for me from here on out. I retract my previous endorsement. See the following thread for explanation. http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forum...ad.php?t=73597
