    New from Ohio

Hey guys! Just moved into the MM world from the mustang world. Just picked up a Black 03 300A with 76K miles. Car is spotless inside and out. Has a few paint blemishes where I think something like tree sap has sat on the car for too long but they are real small. Over all I love the car and have always wanted one since I was a kid. Well now I'm happy to say that I own one. Currently waiting on my certificate from FPG to see what production number the car is. Seeing that its an early build in 06/02 and then look at what number other members were with a similar build date, leaves me thinking ill be in the triple digits.

Anyways I'm just here to see what the community is all about and learn more about the car. My first mod will be window tint, basic exhaust, and tackling the mysterious ford radio. Nice to meet you all and look forward to talking to ya!

congrats on your "new to you" ride!!!

Any chance you can get to Carlisle this weekend? You could see many Marauders at one time at the All Fords show.

My first mod was tinted windows, also.

Again, WELCOME to the site !!

Nice clean ride. Nice find. WHERE did you find it.

Gotta say, I like the blacked out badges! Sleek!

Do you know if car has a tune? It is so sweet looking I am betting it does. If not, that would be my first spend... and may be the very best spend you can make. In 5 minutes the car changes radically.

Got the car from a dealer in wexford PA. Picked it up on Saturday and drove it home. Couldn't tell you if it's been tuned or not or if anything is changed. I'm assuming stick with stock gears. She does love to lunge off from a start. Very touchy throttle. I know factory gears are 3.55. 65 mph is about 2500 revs if I remember correctly.

A tune will definitely be order though. I have an old SCT tuner that's married to my old mustang, but I'll probably get a new one.

    Congrats on the new toy.
If you can make the Carlisle show, you will meet a great bunch of MM owners who are always willing to go above and beyond.

For registration info, go to Carlisle Events website. As for details: just come onto the hill, park your car. Then take out your chair, and park you body with the group. You will then discover that you have a new family.

Or you could go to the "Carlisle Forum" on this site at >>>> https://www.mercurymarauder.net/foru...play.php?f=108

It has threads/posts and links on the Registration (use "MercuryMarauder.Net" as your Club affiliation), Hotel, Showfield Map, and Event Directory for this year and past years.

This year the Marauders are on the same hill in the YELLOW SHOWFIELD in Classes Y472 (2003-2004 Marauder Stock), Y475 (2003 Marauder Modified), and Y478 (2004 Marauder Modified). The MM.Net tent is shown as "W" on the map. It appears that the location of the tent has been shifted from near the road more toward the grandstands (to about where the hill slopes downward).
