A few more update pictures. Still playing around with mounting the heat exchanger. Getting really close to wrapping up the project!
Extended all the wiring harness from one side to the other. Mocked up the heat exchanger, and almost have the drive belt assembly all togther. I have to figure out small little odds and ends tomorrow but hopefully she will see some run time very soon! IM SUPER EXCITED!!!
Small odds and ends makes the job fun. Just time consuming.
Are you using the stock COT set up? If so, the copper tee I've done a couple of times works slick! Perfect size in all directions. IIRC the tee used is an 1 1/2" X 1 1/4" (but measure to verify) with short pieces soldered in all thee ends with a very small flare on the ends to keep the hose from sliding. Either bent with channel locks or use of an anvil like I do. Just not so much that it would cut a hose over time. Then paint it black.

I bought one of Jerry's Cots so it's gonna be an easier swap. But thank you for the information! Might help someone else out.
Today I knocked out most everything that was small out of the way.
What's left is,
Finishing the battery wiring
Bolting down the COT
Installing the SC belt
Making a bracket for the fuse box
Installing the vacuum lines, and boost gauge
Then bolting on the fans/ other normal stuff back on.
I'm so close to having it fire up!! Super excited!!!! Almost hit my deadline of having it done this weekend, but I sure tried! Honestly I was a little intimidated by the swap but quickly figured out it's not rocket science. Plus months and months of reading Info about it, threads, and such helped too.
Here's a few more pictures.
You still need to make something with Jerry's COT because of the new Alt location. Only way out is using an ON3 kit that I know of.

It's hard to explain but this cot I got from him has a downward tube that clears the alt. I'll have to figure it out tomorrow. I'm fried on cars for today. Lol
Rafael, as far as relocating the fuse box, we were able to use the bracket on there just reposition the ones from the car. Kind of just fit together on its own. Taking a break usually opens your eyes better the next day.
A break was needed, totally over killed myself trying to get it done before the weekend was over lol
Update of today. Finished all the wiring, batter swap, hose mods for the COT, and vacuum line routing. I'll be finishing PCV, and rechecking everything tomorrow. Hoping for a test fire!
Looking awesome, great work so far!

Thank you! I'm done with the swap. There's only one small problem.... the belt I ordered was too small. So I'm expecting one tomorrow. She will finally start up tomorrow!
She runs and drives! Small things here and there to finish off the project. So happy with it! Can't stop staring!!!!
