Quick test with a voltmeter hooked to the battery. Grab a piece of 10 awg wire and put it on the negative terminal, take the other end and smash it against the alternator case and see if your voltage goes up. Congratulations on the install. You are finding out all the small things that go into these swaps. Best of luck getting them all sorted out, it is definitely worth it.

I ran a battery cable from the alternator to the frame to get around the anodizing issue. Use the threaded hole where it used to bolt up to the bracket.

Today's the day I figure out what's going on! Took a few days to myself to not get overwhelmed. Here's a picture of here sitting at the dealership.

Update, I got the car to start up and run for awhile. Looks like my problem was the voltage going to the pump wasn't enough. 11.8 voltage from the alt wasn't enough to keep it alive. I've come to the conclusion after case grounding and trying everything you guys have told me that the alternator itself is bad. So replacement is on its way tomorrow.

Another thing gone wrong lol almost starting to regret the swap This time I swapped the bad fuel pump out (areomotive 340lph) as the last one started only pushing 2 pounds of fuel pressure... and now I'm not getting any fuel at the rails but I can hear the pump priming. I replaced the fuel filter, and found myself getting very little fuel at the line leading to the fuel filter.

Now, I have pressure but very little before the fuel filter, and none at the rails. Anyone have ideas on what it can be? Voltage to the pump seems fine at 12.8 or more. Stuck and clueless at this point.

Did you replace you fuel pressure regulator,? Or possibly jump the plug and check flow, also try a long jumper to fuel pump positive feed, try a third pump, the trilogy manual is on line and will help in wire locations and colors coming from the fuel pump driver in the trunk.

Where are you measuring power from? The actual pump itself? Or at the connection from the hat?

I know the feeling, I have had nothing but problems out of my car and it continues to just take money and never get any better.

Then something is wrong. Figure it out including if you can get the past service history to see if it is a "Lemon". Good Luck.

I've had the motor and trans. built at Mo's but it's always something. The cost of hotrodding I guess.
