What size fuel line did you use and what style clamp?

Some fuel lines are ok for external use but swell up and turn to goo when submerged. Worm gear style hose clamps can eat into the lines and cause leaks. Some people have removed the PPRV and regretted it.

Myself, I reused the OEM lines. A real PITA, but I was determined. And the full circle hose clamps like on power steering hoses.

With the massive amount of help from Marty I've finally got her running again! Alternator was bad off the shelf, went and got a replacement and fixed my voltage/ charging problem. As for the fuel issue... the first pump crapped out, the second one destroyed the in tank check valve. I cleaned the tank all out and put it togther. Fixed a few little things here and there.

Also the FPDM was shot, and replaced it with a extra Grand Marquise unit from a buddy.

Learned the cost of hot rodding and jinx myself hahaha but she's running now!

    Much thanks again Marty!

It's awesome your done but it's wrong items are faulty off the shelf. We encountered several idler pulleys that if the average person were to replace that part and the problem still existed or got worse would try something else. Doesn't hurt to always inspect/test new and rebuilt items. I do and still get burned on starters (local parts stores), fuel pumps (aero mostly), moog a-arms and ball joints and the list doesn't stop in the automotive fields. We get defective adhesives, thread compounds, thread locker all that have frozen. It's not difficult to be very attentive to every detail but it is time consuming but the cost of not catching it is the worst.

Well after all the headaches I had the car running enough to drive it home. I was going to resume tuning with marty, but........... I had a friend come over, I fell asleep, and he took the car without me knowing to "grab food".... long story short he destroyed the motor.... floated a valve, head gasket, pretty sure rods are gone too.

I haven't tore down the block yet, but will soon. I'll be doing a complete forged bottom end at this point since there's no return I might as well go all out.

Is this more like "I'm inquiring about male enhancement, for a friend..." or is this for real?

Because what kind of a person would beat on someone else's car with known issues??

Damn, I'm sorry to hear this.

Like the old saying goes: with friends like this, who needs enemies.

I cannot say what I want to say on a public forum. The stupidity in this is unreal. Here we go I can't hold back...... either you are too stupid and let people (friend or not) have access to your ride or your so called friend (dumbass) decided it was okay to drive someone else's car. He is fully responsible and I hope you hold them to it. I have owned my Buick GN for 17 years..................17. The only person to EVER drive it besides me was my best buddy one time with me in the car................ unfortunate lesson learned. Sorry I can't help myself. Idiots, beating on another man's car after so much hard work..................
