Utz's is open M-Th so depending on your arrival it's a possibility.

I was thinking of going over to York Friday to do the Harley-Davidson tour. Basic tour is free and a first come first served. They also have a more in-depth tour that is $38.00 and includes paint, frames, tanks etc. 2 hours for that one.

Could do the craft beer tours as fill in as needed or as in proximity to other stuff.

Saturday I'd like to do the Eisenhower farm as I've never done it, but you are welcome to do the battlefield if you've never been. It's a very solemn experience if you take to the time to imagine what took place. A must see is the cyclorama in the visitors center. Gives you a good reference before you take the self driving tour. You may wish to purchase (highly recommended) the CD that explains what you are looking at as you drive the battlefield.

I like the idea of a group staying together on a tour.
That worked well on the Cleveland train tour

I personally plan on stopping at UTZ's on my way down Thursday. Not sure of the time, but it's in York Pa. So if it's on your way you might make the stop. Will figure dinner out on the fly after I check in. Friday I'd like to go to Harley- Davidson, and do the regular tour. Others may want to look into the expanded tour if they are into Harleys or motorcycles in general (Info on tours is on Harleys web site). Saturday I'm headed over to the Eisenhower farm, but again if you have never been to the battleground it is worth seeing that over Harley or the farm. I've done the battleground tour a few times so the battleground tour is not on my itinerary, but you might want it to be on yours. If you have never done the battleground activities make plans to do so on Friday or Saturday. Lunch and dinner will be spur of the moment and what's in the area. The hotel might have some suggestions. Might look into a few local breweries if my stamina holds up.

The hotel is where I plan on spending time with the Marauder peeps gasbagagin', drinkin' and making impromptu plans.

I suggest looking at the Gettysburg area web sites and seeing what, where, when, etc. are trips you might like to see if you are not interested in what I'm doing.

If you are coming with kids remember Hershey is about an hour North of where we are staying. Not sure what is still running in November up there so check out their web site.

This get together isn't as formal as a Marauderville, so no 'at 9am we are doing this or that'. More casual, hopefully not so 'crack O' the mornin', unless needed, as some of us geezers need to get a wee bit of sleep.
