    60' times

What is a good 60' time for these cars on drag radials?
What seems to work best for launching the Paxton/Vortech cars?

If you can get a 1.7x you would be doing good. What are the torque converter specs?

    I pulled a 1.6 with my s trim back in 04
I found flashing the converter worked best

PI 3500 triple disc. I've had it tuned not to lock until overdrive. Nicer on the street that way, but have no idea if something else would be better at the track?

I thought that would be the trick, but would stay in the high 1.9's that way.
The converter feels much tighter with the 4.10s than it did with 3.55s.

With boost, and converter you should easily be able to get into the 1.5-1.5 60'. I pulled a 1.7 60' stock converter power braking to about 12-15 hundred rpm

It would be nice to see you go with a PTC non locking converter and see the gains.

Sad is that PI only puts down the same power when locked when the ptc/ non lock style does it in all gears... as in currently your percentage of slip is higher because the PI isn't being used to its full capabilities

My Buick I ran the 7 disc PI and it worked great once locked up, but the torque multiplication of the non lock was always there.

Personally I would set the converter to lockup towards the top end of the track, or get a non lock convertor
    The twins2.3 whipple/aluminatorVortech V-2 lots of goodies

"Was low 80's, not sure of the humidity, but pretty cloudy."
I would be looking for 1.8.

    My best is 1.6.

    I usually run 14.5-18psi.

Below pic 1 pass 14.75psi. Note the amount of slippage marked by redline closest to valve.

My drivers side tire moved about 3" total on the last 3 passes. That was with about 25psi. Hook was pretty good, felt real good anyway. Also hit the rev limiter at the top of 1st gear also. Need to see about bumping that up a little.
If it doesn't rain this weekend, I might go back to try some more. Looks to be temps in the 50's.

The amount of slippage @25psi concerns me. I wonder if the tire shop used lubricant to mount?

They did on my new ones, I am going to deflate to check them.
