Sad news but unfortunately we are going to lose an entire generation of greats that we'll never be able to replace. This is a drop in the bucket of the talent that's been around for 50+ years and sadfully this is the beginning. Can you imagine the lifestyle lived and the places seen? The events, opportunities, and experiences? Talk about living a life to the fullest! See you on the other side Mr. Young.

It was a matter of time. He’s been battling Dementia, heart issues, and lung cancer the last few years.

I'm truly saddened buy this news. AC/DC has been a big part of my music listening life. Such a talented group of guys. Thought the band might have called it quits after the death of Bonn, but they found an amazing singer in Brian. Been a tough couple of months for the Young family as brother George passed in October. Thanks for some of the greatest tunes ever recorded Malcolm, w/o a doubt in my mind the greatest rhythm guitarist of all time. I salute you.

I only found out about George while looking up info on Malcolm's death. I also didn't know Malcolm had lung cancer. That's what killed my sister-in-law at 51.

Just getting caught up. Damned shame.

I guess I’m just an old SOB, but nobody is making kick ass rock ‘n roll like that anymore.
