Very nice! Love the Racepak. I need to upgrade mine to the new one to get the blue background.

I just wired it all, texted him, we got on team viewer in my garage with the computer connected to the car, and he worked his magic.

The racepak and micro trans controller were worth every penny. I'm in love with the car again. It's almost like driving a near stock JMODed Vic (minus the open downpipes or loud ass magnafuel 4303) as far as driveability

I knew that looked familiar Nice build man. Keep us updated

Went to the 1/4 today. Passes were on 18psi, then 20psi, then 20psi without the filters on. I don’t have much in suspension, so I’m getting creative with the gas pedal until that’s in the budget. It was a successful day because I made three passes, and then drove the car home 75 miles under it’s own power. I’m pretty satisfied with my $580 worth of turbos! Got a few things I’m gonna change/try before I head to the 1/4 again to try and get back into the 9s, just thought I’d share some results with you guys!

    Yes, it has a radio

trunk was full of spare e85 jugs, tools rode shotgun with me.

It always amazes me at the level of fabrication people will take on these days. Back in the day, this type of stuff was reserved for professionals only. Great job----and an almost flat 10---wow!

Pulled the 3.55s. Putting 3.73s in tonight. I want the car to leave a little harder, and I want to be able to utilize my triple disk converter. It was hitting the traps with 3.55s at like 6350, unlocked, in 3rd. The 3.73s will get me to 145 at 6500 with the converter locked. That's at the upper end of what I think this setup would ever do. If it somehow traps more, the limitter is at 6800, so it has a little room for more mph. Heading back to the 1/4 in a couple weeks.

I actually prefer it on the ground. I don't have a gas tank, and I'm only 5'7 150, so I can sit down underneath the car. Makes it easier to put the carrier in. And I'm sure I'll have it in and out like 5 times trying to get backlash where I want it.

Did some comparing of a couple pulls. 85 to 130 is the cleanest area of the log, so that's what I looked at.

So with the 3.73, it covers the same speed range, .03 quicker, on about 1 less psi. I didn't change the boost controller settings when I did the gear change, because I knew it would load the engine slightly less, and I wanted to see what it would do to the average kpa. My ricer math indicated the 3.73 would be a step in the right direction, and this data is promising to me. I knew it wouldn't be any spectacular change, but it was worth the couple hours I put in. I got the gears for free from a buddy, so it only cost me time and a couple quarts of fluid.

That car should really come out good now, how tall are your rear tires?

What size injectors are you running?

Little update, went to LS fest today, entered in true street (30 mile cruise, then 3 back to back passes). New personal best and then some carnage! Hahahah!

    5.3, 4L80e, Jake's performance triple disk, 3.73, eBay gt35s, e85, 22psi, 11-12*.

Threw a rod on the next pass, gonna get it apart and see what broke, and try again! I think some rings butted. Block is toast, hopefully cam is good!

Sucks when the cam costs as much as the 5.3 lol

Dude those times are pretty damn good for the motor

Unlucky on the rod or did the boost spike up?
