    Valve cover desk lamps

As a hobby I make these cool little valve cover desk lamps and sell them, I usually paint them hot rod colors and was thinking about making one for myself painted to match my marauder and got to thinking maybe others would be interested in some to match their cars, anybody interested they are 200 bucks plus shipping.

I'll totally be interested if I still have money after Xmas shopping. Those look damned sweet.

What kind of access do you have to brand names like the Pontiac one you used as an example?

The red one is actually the same Pontiac cover I just didn't put the poncho sticker on it, I use those because I like the center breather, I can use just about any cover out there as long as it's deep enough to house a couple bulbs.

I have been tossing around that idea, and would love to do it, but the cost to build would be quite a bit more.
Braided hose and AN fittings aren't cheap. If that's something you want I can certainly do it, I've been an aircraft mechanic for 20 years so I'm no stranger to AN hoses and fittings and line fabrication, the cost is just more than I have right now to put down on a project that may or may not sell. But if you want that I would be damn glad to build it for you. Something like that I would need a deposit on to at least cover materials then square up the rest on the back end.

I'm just imagining a 4.6 DOHC version and having the real estate to light up perhaps a quadrant of let's say a small Marine base.. LOL

Add to that the authentic timing chain (s) mounting base that would require a desk by the desk your lighting!

    I love car art!
